Home reading books are renewed each week. We ask that you spend just 10 minutes every day to read with your child and chat about what they have read.
It is also really beneficial for your child to have stories read to them. These can be in your home language or in English. Visiting the local library can be a lovely shared experience.
All the children in year 3 have access to Bug Club, where they have lots of books to read and quizzes to complete.
Basic addition and multiplication skills are at the heart of most of our maths work. Helping your child practise these skills will really help them to progress. There are many websites with worksheets you can print or games you can load. We suggest that 5 minutes a day on the Hit the Button website will have a positive impact on your child's learning.
