Shwmae Year 6!
We hope you are all keeping well! It was lovely to speak to lots of you and your parents last week when we made some check-up phone calls home to you all. Thank you for taking the time to answer and speak with us - it was great to catch up! We talked about how you and your family are doing, your Home Learning on Seesaw and Transition information about your High School. That information should now be on your Seesaw accounts for you to access and share with your parents - take a look!
This week is our virtual STEM week. Last year we spent the whole week on our flapjack project, can you remember? It was such a fun filled week learning lots of new STEM skills.
KS2 teachers have planned a variety of STEM activities for you to join in with this week and we have put these onto a STEM activity grid. Check this out - you will need an adult to help with some of the activities, it will be fun for everyone to get involved! Even the teachers have got involved and made some videos to show you all how to do each activity - we had so much fun doing these!
Make sure you send in your photos and videos of you doing some of these activities as we are hoping to Tweet some on our Twitter page, and you will also get a virtual certificate!
Now we have spoken to lots of you on the phone to check up on your Home Learning and given out new Seesaw codes to those who couldn't get on, please send in your work on Seesaw. This will enable us to see what you are getting up to and how you're getting on with the Home Learning, and also give you feedback just like we do in lessons. If you are able to upload your work using the Seesaw app features or by simply taking a photo of your work then please continue to do so. If you are unable to do this, then please continue completing work in a notebook.
Don't forget, if you have any issues with your login details and accessing your online accounts - email the school at firstname.lastname@example.org
Have a good week!
