School of Sanctuary

This year we signed a pledge to work towards the School of Sanctuary Award. Click the links to find out more about the award as well as the City of Sanctuary Charter.

In July 2023 we were delighted to find out we had been awarded School of Sanctuary status! 🏆🎉

Over the course of the year the children have worked on many aspects of welcome and inclusion throughout their learning activities and project weeks. In June we held our Refugee Week celebrations and enjoyed seeing the children come to school in clothes that represented and celebrated their culture and countries. We were also lucky enough to have a fantastic response from our families to the appeal for Foodbank donations!
