Safety Saviours

Year 4 are focusing on keeping us safe in school.  They are working on the following actions - 

• Addressing safety around the school and in classrooms by completing learning walks.
• Addressing safety issues with cloakrooms and toilets
• Addressing travel safety.
• Addressing first aid and hygiene safety.

They are supported by Mr Carter, Miss Lewis and Mr Kilford.

In the Autumn term, they made posters to remind pupils how to move safely around the school. We hope to see less accidents as a result.

Our chair is Samsam.

Our aims for this year are - 

1. To raise awareness of fire safety in school.
2. To make the cloak rooms safer.
3. To make moving around the school safer.
4. To promote road safety - use of helmets, etc
5. To promote online safety - what to do about cyber bullying and how to use apps safely.

Safety Saviours have been busy over the last few weeks. For Safer Internet Day we discussed online safety and what we can do to keep ourselves and others safe.
