Coronavirus - A Book for Children by Axel Scheffler and friends

Have you ever read 'Room on a Broom', 'The Gruffalo' or 'Charlie Cook's Favourite Book'?

If you have been so lucky, then you have seen the work of the very talented Axel Scheffler.  He's an illustrator of many well known books.

Axel has worked with Elizabeth Jenner, Kate Wilson and Nia Roberts to write this book for us.  They talked to several headteachers and a doctor when writing the book.  They also got ideas from Professor Graham Medley (who knows a lot about infectious diseases and works at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine - which means he's very clever).  Together they got the lovely Nosy Crow Publishers to produce this free book to help us all understand the Coronavirus better.

Axel said - "I asked myself what I could do as a children’s illustrator to inform, as well as entertain, my readers here and abroad, about the Coronavirus. So I was glad when my publisher, Nosy Crow, asked me to illustrate this question-and-answer book. I think it is extremely important for children and families to have access to good and reliable information in this unprecedented crisis, and hope this digital book will reach many children."

We hope you find it useful.
