Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Hello again,
We've had another busy week of distance learning. The teachers have been getting in touch with families to check in and support them with learning away from the school site.
Welsh Government made an announcement this week that schools will re-open in a very limited way to allow pupils to "check in, catch-up and prepare" from 29th June. We are awaiting more guidance from Welsh Government before putting out a formal announcement. However, please be aware that it has been made clear that re-opening will not mean all the children are back in school at the same time. We will keep you informed by text and this website as we get more information. Please be patient.
On our school website, over the last two weeks, we have had

Next week will see the return of STEM Week. This is our annual celebration of Science, Technology, Enigineering and Maths. Staff have put STEM challenges on their year group pages and invite you to send in your results and photos to share your achievements with us. You will also see a return of the very popular Beat The Teacher videos. Take a look on the Virtual STEM Week page for more information and the videos -https://www.ninianparkprm.cardiff.sch.uk/virtual-stem-week/
We hope you find this as inspiring, challenging and fun as our Vitual Sports Day, which had such fabulous responses.
Please remember, any questions about distance learning should be emailed to remotelearning@ninianparkprm.cardiff.sch.uk.
We hope you have a great week and manage to stay safe and well.

Hello
Weekly learning continues to be published on our year group pages.
We have loaned out over 60 iPads to families who have contacted us, stating that they are struggling to access online learning due to a lack of hardware.
Starting today is the 30 Days Wild campaign from The Wildlife Trust.
What is it?
This June, join thousands of people taking part in our annual nature challenge, 30 Days Wild! We want you to do one wild thing a day throughout the whole month: for your health, wellbeing and for the planet. That’s 30 simple, fun and exciting Random Acts of Wildness.
You’ll get a free, downloadable pack of goodies to help you plan your wild month, plus lots of ideas to inspire you to stay wild all throughout June (and beyond!). For extra ‘bonus’ items, keep an eye on your emails for additional, fun activities, from instructions for baking hedgehog cupcakes to a beginner’s guide to wildlife photography.
To get involved, just tell us who’s taking part. If you are a childminder and want to take part with your children - the schools pack will be best suited to you.
There is lots of information available online at -

We hope you have a great week and are managing to stay safe and well.
