Welcome to Nursery!
This term our question for learning has been 'What would happen if there was no weather?'

We have been looking at different types of weather and their uses.  We have discussed our favourite weather and the different things we like to do in the sun, rain and snow. The children have been learning  weather rhymes and songs. Ask your child to sing or recite the following to you. You can look on the internet if you are not familiar with the words.

Rain,rain go away

It's raining, it's pouring

Doctor Foster

I hear thunder

Incy wincy spider

Please remember to record how many stories you are sharing with your child on our share a million stories record sheet you were given on World Book Day. I will be uploading the total at the end of March. Reading to your child daily is a great way to help your child develop. Remember to talk to your child about the pictures. Who is their favourite character? Did they enjoy the story?

You can help your child at home by practising counting to 10, reading and writing numbers.

Please remember that when children are writing their name, they need a capital letter at the beginning and lower case letters for the rest of their name e.g. Lucy NOT LUCY.

Here are some useful links to support your child at home.
