What Makes a Good Performance Great?
This Spring, we are finding out how to make our performances, in many different areas, even better than good, making them great!
The children used pupil voice to brainstorm ideas of what they would like to learn about:
- improving their gymnastics and balances
- singing songs with a microphone and recording them on a variety of electronic devices
- planning their own creative dance moves and adapting these to music and songs that they know and reviewing their performances.
- composing their own group songs and adding percussion pieces using untuned instruments.
- planning a parade or carnival to showcase all their new skills.
- designing costumes and accessories.
- becoming fitter, faster and stronger and even better skilled at sports like soccer and catching and throwing.
- finding out about local carnivals and around the world.
