Dear Parents/Carers,

We are pleased to share important information regarding the Year 6 transition days at 
Fitzalan High School, taking place on Monday 22nd June and Tuesday 23rd June 2026.

We look forward to welcoming your child to Fitzalan High School at 8:30am on both days.

Arrival and Collection
• Pupils should enter the school via the Lawrenny Avenue or Leckwith Road 
entrances (pupil entrances).
• Staff will be on hand to greet pupils and direct them to the year 7-line up areas
• Please note that only pupils are permitted on the school site.
If your child has an older sibling or family member who already attends Fitzalan High 
School:
• They may travel together on the school bus or walk together at the start and end 
of the day.
• Please note that normal school bus charges apply.

The school day will finish at 3:00pm.

Lunch Arrangements: All pupils will be provided with a canteen lunch option during the 
transition days. Please note that menu choices may differ from those available at primary 
school.

What to Bring: Please ensure your child:
• Wears their primary school uniform
• Brings the following items:
o Pen and pencil
o Water bottle
o Sun cream
o Raincoat
